Happy BLACK History All Year (Yup!)
It all started in 1926 and no it's styll not at it's peak/
by: Dr. Carter G. Woodson back then called "Negro History Week"/
in 1976 it became a month, just 3 more weeks took 50 years! /
it's 05 tell me why 29 years later where styll there? /
we were separated for over 400 years so no surprise why it's hard 2 live in union/
plus all tha lies we were forced fed like we weren't even human/
foreign diseases made us sick like havin' sin in ya life and takin' communion/
but God was with Black people like the Jews in Germany/
and we're connected wit Him for life like peeps in fraternities/
It seems anytime people talk bout our history it's negative so I'ma leave dat alone/
and stick wit tha positive did u know Black people invented the cellular phone? /
and dat's jus tha start it gets hyper/
we also invented the elevator, helicopter, even tha typewriter/
the lawn mower te da lamp now things are brighter/
plus the gas mask now in chemical warfare soldiers can be an effective fighter/
there's so much inventions dat u probably would never think/

my people don't buy da lie dat Christianity is only a white mans religion/
there's bin Black Christians in tha Bible from tha beginning!/
we're not an inferior race/
God loves us as much as He loves everyone else from any place! /
so don't go to anyone feelin' yourself you need to validate/
love yourself everything from your feet, to ya hair, te everything on ya face/
Adam and Eve were Black I'm speaking life so please don't take it as something lethal/
for only a Black persons jeans can create every other race of people! /
